    Is this all #1 steel?

    350 engine block, main bearing caps, intake, some bolts, oil pumps, 3/8" steel rod, set of heads. I've never tried separating from lt. iron but figure with the block being as heavy as it is I might as well.

    Yes it is all #1 Steel, If the engine was complete it may have gone for an engine block usually at a lower price than #1.
