Magnetic stainless and dirty stainless are usually 2 different things. Magnetic stainless is obvious. Dirty stainless is non magnetic stainless with attachments or insulation. My main yard only takes magnetic as shred. I had a big removal job from a plastics testing company this summer. A lot of non magnetic stainless in the 3 units. The doors which would have been a pain to take apart were sold as dirty stainless at 30 cents a pound. Anything I could breakdown and clean went as non magentic stainless at 50 or 60 cents a pound.
