"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"
kcscrapper do you know if it came off a vehicle or machine? Any alphanumerical's stamped into any of metal pieces? To me as I see it, could be any of numerous "what is it's", a type holding/tooling jig? "As I shoot with my shotgun, hoping for a kill!".
no I think there is a X on it not sure if it's a mark where something is suposed to go or no
The one on the right looks like some kind of bracket that clips on sheet metal of some sort. The one on the left I have no Idea unless it isjust the top of something that was glued on to something.
It might help if we knew how big or small those items are. Maybe throw a quarter down for a reference.

Looks like the bottom of a 2032 lithium battery and a heavy duty relay contact

I was gonna say the left looked like the piezo element in an office phone and the right looked like the bracket off a laptop screen lol.
The thing on the left looks suspiciously like a part out of a medium size electrical relay or contactor. You'd have to show a couple of different photo angles to be sure. And please get a tape measure into the photos for a size reference!!
If you are looking for silver contacts, I'm thinking you are getting warm!!
Jon.
I think that's a mobo batt on the left for comparison
Buying ewaste and video games !
The thing on the left is a resistor thingy from a CRT tv and its used to decrease the amount of AC power going to the degaussing cable.
Or, its the same item, but from a more modern fridge and its used somehow to help starting the electric motor when it needs a extra 'boost' of power to get it turning over.
Quote from the web{ Switching type PTC thermistors are made of poly-crystalline materials. They are often fabricated using mixtures of barium carbonate, titanium oxide and additives like tantalum, silica and manganese. The materials are ground, mixed, compressed into disks or rectangle shapes and sintered. Afterwards, contacts are added and they are finally coated or encased. The manufacturing process requires very careful control of materials and impurities. Contaminations on the order of a few parts per million can cause major changes in the thermal and electrical properties.} End quote.
The second item is a connector on a relay of some sort and it might have a Silver/Cadinium contact on it.

Are they worth your time to break down? Doesn't seem to be much meat in there. I kinda thought that eBay for breakers was a better game...
