ive got an old lawn tractor sitting in the garage and I am beginning to clean out the garage. would it be worth it to bring the tractor in for shred or should i spend a few hours and drain the trans and take it apart. I believe that the trans case is made from aluminum and its not light. also do you guys know if the engine blocks on briggs and strats are made of aluminum or iron?

there is an ad on craigslist that posts about free pallets up to 20 40x48 pallets every day, would it be worth my time to go and pick the pallets up to recycle? anybody know what pallets are going for right now?
