    Does cast iron pay more than light iron?

    Have a chance to pick up 2 cast iron tubs and a wood stove.....does cast pay more than light?

    Yes. But the tub might go as Light Iron if it's laminated. Expect about 3 1/2 cents a pound more for cast.
    People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    Also- Cast iron tubs with claw feet fetch a pretty penny resold, that i've seen on ebay.
