    heat the plastic and use needle nose to separate it immediately then work from there. it sounds good in my head

    Heating was gonna be one of my options but the saw tore thru the plastic in no time.
    All brass now, just hoping my yard will take it

    Heard some states won't let you scrap meters without proof of ownership...Not sure if Indiana is one or not. It came from my landlord (also a family friend). It'd be a pain in the butt to get her to follow me to the yard though cause she's going to chemotherapy weekly and doesn't get out much for the week after having that done on mondays

    Any ideas how to remove plastic

    Just read on a scrap law website and only things they mentionfor Indiana is air conditioner coils and catalytic converters so maybe I'm in luck. Sucks I spent a few hours stripping foil off a.c. coils for nothing though lol
