Got a Bonfiglioli speed reducer from a regular today. He says it's from an elevator. I tried posting a picture from Photobucket, but just not working for me (message: Invalid File Name and File Too Large). Anyway, I have NO idea of even a range for this thing.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

I have no idea of the value, but just to clarify, are you planning on scrapping or selling it?
There's nothing more fun and more effective than hitting something repeatedly with a sledgehammer

Quite a few years ago, I was given a Watts 4" double check valve, which is something one would use in a fire sprinkler system, about 5 years old, but still in the crate. (Specs had somehow changed, and the plumber ended up not using it in the project. The builder was tired of looking at it.)Already did that, they have a website but getting no pricing. Maybe it's one of those deals where if you have to ask what it costs, you don't need it.
The paperwork was still with it, so I called the outfit that had sold it, and they were nice enough to tell me what it had cost. (Around $700.) They also told me that that model was, by then, outdated, and it probably wasn't worth much to anybody, particularly in such a liability sensitive thing as a fire sprinkler system. I ended up giving it away to a friend, and he scrapped it.
If I were you, Mick, I think I'd just give them a call and ask what one costs. What's the worst they can do? Tell you it's a secret?

Hey Mick, Goggle used farm equipment, there's ton's of dealers that buy and sell online. We have a couple of big dealers that have auctions twice a year and people come clear down here from Canada. One dealer has a couple of semi's that are on the road all the time hauling bought and sold equipment. We even have a farm equip. junkyard 5 miles from the house that is bigger than most auto junkyards around here. I'll bet you'll find some takers that way,,,Seems to be big money in used farm equip.
