    need help

    I've got some old Allen Bradley control relays all the contacs are magnetic. Just wondering could they be something other than steel.thanks a lot mark

    Only thing else that is magnetic is nickel, and I do not think they would use that for contacts. One way to tell is to take an angle grinder and do a spark test.

    Thanks a lot Wayne just never seen steel contacts. All the larger ones in this project were silver alloy. Thanks again mark
