    IC chips.

    I don't know how to post pics yet n I think I gotta post more to be able to? N e way new to e scrap trying to figure it all out n yes I'm reading old post Mike =D jw what are the IC chips ( or things that look similar to IC chips) but have four round circles on the bottom? .... And do they contain gold? I don't use nitric at this point for safety concerns so I can't decap my own to see n can't find one that's been decaped. Ty Si

    Ty! I know basics about computers but thats about it I'm actually a general contractor by trade. Got rear ended and my back was broken. I've always done my own scrapping. Just now getting into e waste etc. Having trouble finding friendly advice so it's greatly appreciated. This post was just trying to figure out if those particular chips are gold bearing or worthless. Saw that they get taken out on yt videos before interaction n not sure if they are sellable. Agian ty. Sincerely Si

    You would be surprised at the amount of money that can be made by selling the boards whole and not depopulating.
