#2 insulated wire here but you would have to remove the ends. Also sell the brass caps seperatly

yeah also number 2 insulated here i bet thats some hard insulation to cut into.

What did you get for the roll of wire?

I was offered 0.55 lbs for it strait up but if I stripped the outer black insulation I would get insulated #2 price of 1.05lbs. I'm almost done stripping the black part off but i don't think it would be worth it to strip to get bare bright. I will call other scrap yards later

Sell it for #2 and move on to something else. I would have sold it for .55 lb.

FYI if you add sliced carrots to Ramon noodles it is the BOMB

You are asking about PAYING for a cable you have NO IDEA what you will be getting.
Using your optimistic numbers, $0.60 X 150 #'s is $90.00. Minus $25 is $65.00... At worst you are spending $25 on education to optimistically clear $65.00. If you are that worried about taking $25 out of your pocket, why are you taking $26 out of your pocket? If you are so close you cannot gamble $25, spend the money on Ramon noodles!
