2nd question - the scrap yard is paying tin prices for the thin layers if steel that make up frames of the smaller transformers. Is this normal or should it be brought to their attention that what they are calling tin is really steel?
Thank you in advance.
Light iron, tin and shred are all terms used to refer to items that contain thin gauge steel or items with thicker steel that is more than slightly contaimanted.
