    The yards around here accept it as # 1. Oxidation only comes into play when trying to sell as bare bright. I cannot help you as far as removal, but an entire roll has more value than scrap.

    Could be. Throw it on CL and see if you get some bites. Copper isn't in real demand as it was years ago, though, but you may get lucky and find a moonshiner that needs a coil.

    The person I bought it from already had it on Craigslist for almost a month. Hadn't thought to search CL just for metal not being sold as scrap until recently.
