    How to get copper from motors?

    So I scarapped a few garage door openers, and a few various other motors. So once I get the part out that has all the copper wound through it how in the crap do ya get the copper out of the metal part that is all wrapped around and though???

    There are a couple of links to videos as well. I personally cut the loops on one side, then flip it over and pull it all through. I have been wanting to take a video of that and post it, but have not yet. I am waiting to have a larger pile of motors.
