I know the interior of it is lead and the exterior of it is brass.
But what would it be used for?!
They are stupid heavy but I guess you can expect that from lead.

never seen one of them animals !
i figure using the grinder just to get the brass off should be easy but seriously...im more curious as to what it was than what it is now
where did you get it ? how big is it ? hard to tell in pic with no point of reference...
What are those 3 "dots"? Are they rubber?
Only thing I can think of at the moment is a door stop.
What's it look like on the other side, and what is the scale of it? Seems like it's small judging from the wood grain of the table. It could be the weighted base of a decoraive item, vase, candlestick, etc. Those three dots could be feet, if we're looking at it upsidedown?
Its about the size of your palm. I got it from a guy who was getting rid of a bunch of junk out of his house...he was quite well off if that helps at all.
And those things that look like 3 feet seem to be more of glue that possibly stuck to another one of these? The other side looks exactly the same just no "feet"
i have over 100lbs of this stuff please someone!
My guess is a paper weight.
That's a weird thing, look how precisely it's machined. I'm guessing it's some sort of flywheel weight.
The little "dot" things on it makes it seem like it would rest on a table or something. I'm with Parrothead on the paperweight idea
There's nothing more fun and more effective than hitting something repeatedly with a sledgehammer
Gyroscopic weight assembly from a Petraculated Gonchulatre.
