I have a 2 ton jack. It doesn't work and it's an old one. Bought it at a garage sale and now thinking of scapping it. I'm guessing it may weigh a couple hundred lbs. It's a roll around and it's about 4 feet long. Any Idea how much it might be worth in scrap. I'm in Tx.
Around here...about $17.
Could throw it on craigslist for $40 or so and see what it does. Maybe all it needs is a seal and some fluid to get going again.

Like Idaho said, it may just need seals and fluid. It's worth a shot at least. At $40 on Craigslist, I'd jump on it. Those things are invaluable to have around. I found one in a Sears dumpster one time. You should have seen me trying to hoist it over the side without dropping it! I weigh 125 lbs. and both doors were welded shut so I had no choice but to stand on the outside and trying to pick it up one handed while hanging onto the side. I managed but barely!

Check it to see if its aluminum. I had one dropped off the other day that was mostly aluminum. It was beyond repair, but was worth quite a bit as scrap. Just need to take it apart.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

The brand is no longer around so I might just put it on craigslist. We bought it for $40 at a garage sale which is interesting.
I believe they're just regular o-rings. Take it apart and go to an auto parts store to match it up.
