how much is a 275 gallon oil tank go for at a scrap yard ?

I would say about $20-30 but dont quote me on that, also you will probably have to cut it in half before they will take it

How would you go about cutting one of these suckers in half?

I took in a 1000 gallon tank, and all they wanted was a hole big enough for the man to stick his head inside and see that it was empty. I cut it in the center of one end, because I know they'll cut it in half and use it for a bin anyway. I figured I'd leave it as useful as possible for them.
