unless it contains stainless "non magnetic" or aluminum or it has a excessive amount of copper wire. No don't break it down.
Stuff like this in most cases just cut the cord & scrap it. You can make more money investing the time to find more scrap.
Now if it is a commercial unit things change. If its a commercial unit call up local restaurant supply companies, the ones that sell used equipment. It might bring 3, 4, 5 times the money or even more!
