Question about the big commercial metal shredders

Anybody know of any articles or videos on how these big shredders work and how they classify the different types of metals? I was just curious about how after an appliance gets shredded how they separate the copper, aluminum, plastic, brass, stainless steel, etc. Magnetic steel would be pretty obvious. I have be wondering for a while now how that works.

May be wrong but I think it has something to do with the specific gravity/density of the material causes it to fall in the proper place. Some sorters in manufacturing are able to use a cameras and a blast of air to move things where they want it. Sorry but no video references for this.

I saw a couple on YOUTUBE. I forget specifically. Some sorting was by magnets; some by material density etc. You might try going on there and looking around.

Nothing to reference online, but we spent alot of time researching these systems... typically they generate ferrous fractions, non ferrous fractions (copper/brass, Aluminum), plastic fractions and printed circuit board fractions. These systems typically use a combination of magnetic belt(s), eddy current, optical sorting, gravity discharges, and more.
