Abbreviations on my receipts.

Hello all,



I have another “name that metal” question with a twist. I’m currently in the process of getting organized and putting a spreadsheet together to record what I bring in each time I cash in and how much I get for each material. Plus this will help me know what my yard classifies as each category. I’m going through my past receipts and there are a few abbreviations that I don’t know. Yes I already tried searching Google and the forum.


The ones I DO know are:

Clean Alu, Painted Alu, Clean Ext Alu, Painted Ext Alu, Cast Alu,
CU-1BR, CU-2
#1 Insulated Wire, #2 Insulated Wire
Steel iron loose, HMS - Steel


The ones I need help on are:

CU-IT: I believe was un-stripped CAT5 but if I’m wrong let me know.
CUIN-18: NO Idea
AL-MLC: NO Idea
BRY-B: I’m pretty sure this was some brass fittings for air hoses.

Ok I think the MLC was some sheathing from BX Cable. Does that seem right?

Last one I swear. CU-3. I've never heard of #3 copper.
