Well if you cut it into sections of 4 feet or less I know for a fact that SA scrap yard will buy it as Iron #1 .13 a pound last time I checked .04 more than light steel. A worker at the yard told me it has to be less than 6 feet and 1/4 in. thick to be considered #1 and the consensus online seems to be 5 feet or less I always cut mine in 4 feet sections just to be sure. Check in the yellow pages there are literal dozens of scrap yards in Las Vegas. I find that SA and Nevada Recycling are best both in terms of pricing and customer service. SA has 4 different locations across the valley and is planing on opening more and Nevada Recycling only has one in Northtown.
