There you go compliments of GoogleClub Head
Club heads are made of light metals that allow for bounce off the club face, as well as keeping the total weight of the club down to increase club head speed. The materials usually used for club heads are titanium, steel, graphite, boron or steel alloys.
Shafts
Shafts are usually made from steel or graphite. Graphite shafts are different composites of graphite and other alloys to allow for different weights and flexes.
Grips
Grips are usually made of rubber. This is because it deals with moisture well and allows for better grip.

Some old putters are brass. Every once in a while one will show up.
thankjs for replies, so basically they're not worth much scrap wise?
awwrick...welcome to the forum. Do you know how to use the search feature at the top right of the home page. I just searced for golf clubs and came up with 2 pgs. Then I did a search for titanium and came up with 2 more. If you would do this before you ask questions we'd appreciate it. Good luck. I hope your clubs ARE titanium.
thanks for posting
titanium if your scrap yard buys it on some drivers.
Here we go again always thinking of the scrap value, when our first thoughts should be is there any collector value.

Some woods have a brass plate on the bottom. And for you lead collectors, some have a lead plug underneath the plate.
Another place that might buy used golf clubs from you is the pro shop at the local golf course. They have used clubs that they rent out to players. Also, there are times when someone will want to hit balls on the driving range but won't have clubs with them (for instance, someone who travels and doesn't want the expense of taking clubs with them). And people are always breaking clubs because of their tempers. So there is a need to buy clubs.
