    Good spots to find scrap

Im new to scrapping and was wondering if anyone knew any good commercial locations to find copper or aluminum?
I've heard a good place to go is auto parts store because people threw starter plugs and wire in the dumpsters. Has anyone ever looked there?

Before someone else gets a chance to tell you all the secrects of scrapping...........seriously read the old posts and come back with a better question, Mike.

    Outside.

Not to be rude but you need to do some reading...there are so many places and to repeat them as much as people ask where to go look question...it would be crazy.

And on another note Finding scrap is not simple...there is no one place you can look or ask and find scrap...you have to know your OWN town..know what happens around (getting the down low on things) Find where there is new building or even where they are tearing down a building...both sites can yield scrap...again....you just have to go out and hit the road...you wont find much at first but you will start to find more and more.
