    scrapping kitchen faucet

I got a kitchen faucet with brass tubing inside. should I try to remove the brass piece, or just sell it whole?

remove it. the outside is most likely stainless, or perhaps diecast zinc. (i have run into a few of these dicast faucets with brass valves in them)

you will get >3x the money for the weight of the brass, so take is apart as best you can

and please take a moment to introduce yourself on the introductions thread, that way we can get to know you and help each other more effectivly

It depends on how strict your yard is. Mine takes the whole thing as brass, but I'd call and ask if I were you

It depends on what the faucet is made of, it could be chrome plated brass and you can leave it as is, or it can be another metal and you would want to break it down to maximize your profits. But remember, the more time you spend on it the less your actually making if you take your time into account.
