It's not just the diameter of the hole I need to know, but the thickness of the metal too. Generally the metal weighs more than the hole

Using standard UK sizes, I would guess you have a 10.5 inch diameter pipe. Standard pipes will be 26 to 29 lb per foot. Heavy duty pipes will be 43 lb per foot. Standard pipes are .28 thick, heavy duty pipes are .375 thick.

If it really is .5 metal then I would guestimate 55-60 lb per foot. Seems a bit thick for 10.5" pipe, but it could be.

Normal 4" cast is around 50-60 lbs. for every 4-5 foot. But, that's not taking into consideration for how many connections there are. I once took a section of it out in a remodel with umpteen joints and I swear it was like carrying a 250lb dead man up basement stairs.

    If it's 12" O.D. pipe that's 1/2" thick, it's going to weigh approximately 60 lbs. per foot.
