I would try "tools, auto-parts, and farm+garden" for starters. This one just kinda fell in my lap. It belongs to the neighbor of my sons girlfriend. My son was talking to her one day and telling her what we do and well, the rest is history. Or it will be when we get this behemoth outta there.

Can you back your trailer up to it and winch it on using some steel pipes under it that you keep moving from front to back as it rolls up the trailer?

Awesome! That's exactly what I'm looking for. Will something like that fit on a standard pickup truck? Or am I going to need to take a different route?

That one is also the low profile mine is much bigger! Hard to tell if the one Jack is getting is the small or big one from the picture.

Just checked manufactures tag on my truck.

From the factory the truck was 2906 pounds with original truck bed I will assume.
The scale house puts the truck at 5280 on avg.

That comes out to 2374 pounds difference the original bed and utility.
Taking into account all my fishing gear, oh and some tools about 200 pounds.
= That sucker is heavy!

With all the rust mine is getting lighter with every pothole!

Yeah I was thinking somewhere around the 2000 lb. mark.
