    CPU's = LB

I don't have the volume, nor a micro scale to calculate this. But I figured many may benefit from this question.

Approximately how many CPU's (of each type) equal a LB?
i.e. 20 pin less CPU's equal a LB or 30 Black fiber chips equal a LB etc.

Anyone have the ability to calculate this and would be willing?

    Thanks

*edit Probably should of posted in the electronics recycle section. My bad...

    Approx # per pound

    Slot 14
    Green fiber 50
    Green fiber metal top 22
    K6 al top 24
    Black fiber 26
    Amd ceramic 28
    Pentium ceramic 17
    IBM/cyrix 12
    Pentium pro 5/6?
    Double gold 11
    486 23

These are estimates actual chips will vary.

I'm showing 320 for pinless but I think it is an error.

approximate values based on quantities quoted above some of them seem a little off but they are close enough to give an idea of the value of one chip versus another

    Slot @ 14pc./lb. = +/- $.75ea.

    Green fiber @ 50pc./lb. = +/- $.38ea.

    Green fiber metal top @ 22pc./lb. = +/- $.32ea.

    K6 al top @ 24pc./lb. = +/- $1.10ea.

    Black fiber @ 26pc./lb. = +/- $1.38ea.

    Amd ceramic @ 28pc./lb. = +/- $1.03ea.

    Pentium ceramic @ 17pc./lb. = +/- $2.20ea.

    IBM/cyrix @ 12pc./lb. = +/- $4.40ea.

    Pentium pro @ 5pc./lb. = +/- $16ea.

    Double gold @ 11pc./lb. = +/- $8ea.

    486 @ 23pc./lb. = +/- $5.35ea.

Depends on which Celeron it is....The celeron was made during the Black fiber chips as well as the Pentium 4 and even to this day....The older the celeron the more it is worth.
