Also keeping the motors and wiring and such, is like a savings account. At the end of week or month, run it in. Nice extra couple hundrend if ya doing it right.....
couldnt agree more on the savings account, but i wouldnt trade my experiences in fast food from high school for anything

At a minimum, take the time to rip the dryer apart. They are basically piggy banks crossed with lotto tickets. Sometimes you find very little, sometimes you find 5-10 bucks in change, sometimes you score gold jewelry. You just never know.

I am pretty sure it is chicken byproducts that were not good enough for making hot dogs.
Ozzy you mention using a 11'/32' socket. That is one huge socket! It comes out to be a 4.125" socket! " = inch, ' = foot. Just so you know it is written like this, 11/32".

The motor is easy to get out. I dont use a side gridder on the bolts that hold it in. I use a sleg hammer. Two smacks and it out. Just hit it strait on, in the direction that it needs to come out. The big bolt on the bottom, and there are 3 side bolts under the fan on the right hand side. Then smack the fan off with the hammer as well. Your done!

Remember to take the controll pannel where the setting switches are on washers and dryers. some are plastic tho, its a alum pannel. I see almost noone takes them off.
