some of those old pc parts can be pricy if they're the right ones, but that takes time in knowing something about boards and learning to search the right numbers and places to see what they are and what they're worth. Basic home computers would have to be rather special to be extremely valuable, even from 1990, but still might be worth holding on to. If the monitor is separate, that could likely be done away with, which would greatly reduce the space needed to retain the main box
