There are lots of threads on trailers and everyone has an opinion. Remeber you don't just have to be able to pull it you need to be able to stop it. That requires breaks on the trailer and I like a heavy pulling vehicle.
Like Cory said we like an intoduction from new members. Let us know where you are and what led you to scrapping, Mike.
"Profit begins when you buy NOT when you sell." {quote passed down to me from a wise man}
Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
This oughta do it...
only if your scrapping hot wheels
If you want to be successful and efficient hauling cars pick up a tilt trailer. Pick up a car in half the time
yes i had a flatbed trailer w/ ramps and used a buddies tilt-deck, and oh my god what a difference,
a GOOD tilt-Deck with a GOOD winch is a poor mans rollback
now i have a roll-back and ramp-truck and the same thing still applies the roll-back beats the ramp truck day in and day out.
just my opinion.
Yes very easy
the tilt trailer tilts with the weight if im not mistaken or is it electric?, i don't have one but we have ramps mainly just because thats what we have, but when we dont use the excavator to tip the car over which is way fun and the way we used to do all of em, but latlely we have been extra busy so we pull the car up on the trailer leave one set of wheels on the ground pull out a ramp and crawl under and cut the cat off right there slide the ramp back in and pull up the car, my question would i still be able to do this with a tilt i dont think i could but if i can have the best of both worlds well you guys know i like toys
one of my trailers is so low to the ground i dont need ramps or tilt inless its a car vans and trucks will drive right on lol.
