I Have A Question

about questions. Why does this particular section exist? I went through the first 10 or so threads and when the poster asks a question someone will answer "use the search function".

Save some server space and just have a permanent post that says "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION".

After all we wouldn't want to force people to waste their time answering questions with non-answers!






Never did understand why people would respond if they don't think the question is worth a response. Ignoring it doesn't seem that hard to me.

mrbill....you have been reading older threads in that section...which is good, but you have obviously missed the more recent discussions on this issue. Also, you will very rarely see that phrase you mentioned anymore. I would direct you to some specific threads re this but I'd rather you use the search feature. jk

Like everybody else said, most of the questions have already been asked. Stick around long enough and you'll understand what I mean...I can't count the number of CRT posts/questions I've seen that have all the same answers/comments...I do believe the admins are changing/adding a section for basic stuff...

I always just click "What's New" on the top...all the new questions/postings since the last time I was on...had 8 pages to go through today...
