    ok I see that graphite sells for about $ 900 to $1000 per ton
    I also had a opportunity to buy 51 lb for $45 but i don't see who will buy it for a fast turn over - local yards don't buy it - but the value is there - I think ?

    It's good you passed then, you only had $20.83-23.15 of graphite at the prices you suggest. That is, assuming someone will buy it

    I get a lot of carbon/graphite scrap. Some solid, some mixed with fiberglass. I've searched for a good source to sell it, or even recycle it without paying for disposal. If anyone has any leads in the Chicagoland area, I'd appreciate it.
