    I would guess it was from the inside of some kind of battery charger or some heavy duty electrical device. Nice peices of copper by the way

    ahh i thought it was copper but its magnetic !!!!!! so i got no idea it came out of an rca spliter

    Hmmm..must be copper plated steel...I've come across some wire like this...i hate that carap..could have mentioned it was magnetic.....apologies...gl man
