Still learning an have a question

Ok so next to my shed is my pile of metal. It's all clean metal no plastic. Rotors. Springs. Hubs. Chairs. Flywheels. Poles. Microwave case. A/c cases an so on an so. Pretty much everything that sticks. Now I haven't bin to the yard that many times but I have a frigerator an was gonna put that in my truck an fill it with my scrap but I herd the frigerator will effect the value of my other metal. The compressor has bin removed an it's going to the yard aswell. I'm just useing the frige to contain the smaller metal what do you guys think

Well Lemmy, you'd better call your yard and find out for sure. My yard doesn't mind stuffing appliances with other ferrous things (not plastic, etc.) but I think I recall someone on here stating that their yard would not allow it. Best bet: call and find out.

Check with you yard for all yards are diffrant. The yards I use do not care for there is no sorting of metals.

Keep the rotors, hubs and flywheels separate. You get more for the heavy stuff.

My yard pays the same for it all and will not care if the fridge is in there. Just got .115 per lb for steel. But I do think it is good to call ahead and see, as stated some items may be of more value than others mixed in...
