    Ra channel

Hey guys. I'm hoping for a little advice.

I've got a few hundred pounds of, what I think I've identified as 14 gauge channel. It's some old shelving I've dismantled from my garage. The only markings on it says "Right Angle RA 225" along with some 4 ft steel shelves/panels

Its been sitting in my garage for a couple years, and Im ready to get it out.

    My questions are:

Would I be better off putting it on Craigslist as channel? Or taking it to a yard as scrap?

Would it classify as light iron? #1 etc......

I appreciate any input you guys may have.

If you can sell it for what it is used for, ie metal shelving you will get more for it than scrap. Besides, if you can sell it as shelving someone will collect it and load it up. If you sell it as scrap you will have to load up your vehicle, drive to the yard and possibly unload it yourself.
I know lying is wrong, but if the elephant man came in now in a blouse with some make up on, and said, "How do I look?" Would you say, bearing in mind he's depressed and has respiratory problems, would you say, "Go and take that blusher off you mis-shapened elephant tranny?" No. You'd say, "You look nice... John""
