Sawzall or a good drill powered wire stripper. Every scrapper wants both of them, and I would trade you 2 vests for a sawzall/stripper every day. Besides, the vests would get messed up in no time what with crawling under cars and humping stuff around by hand.
The hand tools are a nice idea, but individually they are affordable. These two options take a little saving up to get, but they help you make more money in the long run.
