I am new to scrapping metals and most of the items I have got are scrap magnets. i don't know where to sell this or what it's worth. can somebody kindly give me a clue?

mine just go in the scrap pile.
I save magnets from hard drives and magnetron as I can only get shred price. You never know when you will need them, or someone else might. This chick wanted to install a plant light inside of a vivarium to provide heat for the frogs/toads inside, and light for the plants. It needed to be visually appealing as well as effective. I cut hard drive magnets in half taped out the screw holes in order to accept a stainless machined screw to hold the 2 light mounts, then i put the other on the top of the glass cover for the tank. There was plenty of magnetism through the glass to hold the light in place, simple and effective!
Well, just throw em out there. See if they stick...
ur contributions are pretty useful. many tnx
only ones I know of any worth are neodymium earth magnets

She had a boyfriend, I'm just a nice guy and in case she ever doesn't have that bf.
I have a small container of HD magnets. At school all us auto tech guys were comparing our magnets (you know, the extendable ones that you use for getting bolts dropped under engines) and I piped up saying I had a magnet that could beat them all. So I brought in my little container and watched as everyone was amazed by the strength of those little beauties. Needless to say half the container was gone by the end of the day. Honestly watching the guys (and one girl) getting their minds blown was worth wayyy more to me then trying to sell them.
I donate mine to a school project , they are making a windmill out of them !!
