So now that you know the number of cans to a pound 32-34 or so, are you going to just turn in a pound? I weigh my bags before I go so I know the number. If you are in a deposit state you normaly will not turn them in by the pound.

The number of cans to make up a pound may vary if u pull the tabs off... in some places you can scrap the tabs as aluminum clippings and get more money for your can scrap... I never knew this until a guy at work told me and he had previously worked at a scrap yard for like 15 yrs.

I wonder if my yard would go through all my cans just to look for the tabs..if so, their going to be upset. lol.
