Escrap shipping to getting paid timeline

The first two escrap loads i've shipped took about two weeks from shipping to getting the check in my hands. This last load is taking 11 days and counting. What is some of the typical times some of you guys have experienced in this process? Any advice on what I could do to smooth out the process or speed it up? Sort and separate better, pack it in one big box, send it at certain times of the month,or year, call or write ahead first to let the buyer know what im sending so that they can prepair better,ect... I've learned alot on this forum and I thank each and every one of you for the wisdom you all have brought to this forum.I thank the admins for its creation. I thank the buyers here for the valuable service they provide.

who where the two people you sent it to? I know it cant been us as our turn around is a tab bit faster. But you have to take note it will take 3 to 4days to ship and then if it lands on a Friday it will most likely be opened up on Monday so that can make it take a few days longer.

I last shipped about a year ago to no one here on this forum,I was burned bad too, a 40lb shipment 3/4 of it was mother boards and finger cards, payment 1$. They are located in the ne us. I'm just trying to get more feedback on how long the process usually takes ,and what can I do to speed up and improve the process on my end. I've already read the few who has posted their time results.

well its all based on who you sent it to and how you packaged it but you will have talk with each buyer on how they would like it to make things move faster. But in short if you have each item boxed up and or bagged so they can just grab and slap it onto the scale and ect...it can move things along faster.

Sort well and bag up the smaller items so that the buyer can grab and go.

Im happy to call ourselves out on this. I certainly do apologize for this falling outside of our traditional 1-3 days.

However, the 11 days included a LONG memorial day weekend. Secondly we had server issues, we had called dozens of people to let them know all of our emails were down, hence people wondering what the status of their lot is.

Lastly, you shipped a an odd bag of material to us, which flagged the lot. When lots get flagged i have to personally view them to determine how to handle it. There was a frame for glasses and some other odd jewelry item, mixed with broken bits and pieces of misc. items. In nearly 8 years of business, we never got a box like that in. I had personally called you to see if you wanted us to make you an offer so we have been shopping it around to get you the best deal. With that being said, ALOT of people are on vacation right now (including some of ours) so getting answers is difficult.

Without the misc. items this would've been paid in our typical 1-3 days upon receipt. I believe the complaints of slower than usual turnaround would be less than 1% of all lots.

I hope this clears things up for you.

Ewasted you done well, excluding the 2day weekend and the 3 day weekend, and the 3 day shipping time, the turnaround time was very reseaonable. The shipment out of my hands on the 18th ,paid today. Good prices and 66cents a pound on the shipping at 175#.

That company that ripped me off probably has thousands of victims. The advertise all over the place. At one time their ads kept following me from site to site . If a buyer on this forum advertised as much as them they would easily become millionaires.
