    Ive been using one like this and so far no problems (I think mine was $80 shipped). I have probably stripped a few hundred pounds of wire ranging from 14 awg to welding cable, etc with no problems. It takes a little bit to get used. I ended up ditching the wire guide with the eyehooks, they are very a very thing gauge metal and would break after a while of running heavier wire through it. I would say it is well worth the investment for myself and has paid for itself numerous times over. I hope this helped, good luck!

    That's the same one I bought last week. Havn't been able to take my hands off her yet. She's a hard working stripper.
