I am replacing the single motor and transmission with a high powered wheel chair motors and wheels.
The wheels chair motors were from a wheelchair rated for 700lbs.
I will have a much better control of the forklift from a very slow crawl up to five miles per hours.:)

Anyone built a forklift for the front of an ATV?

you must of had access to some telecom stuff..the frame of the lift looks like a 19 or 23 inch rack from a telephone central office
