I agree Mick they are nice. You can reach inside stuff and also handy for reaching in to pick up parts and such.
Mike the trick is to just start saving all your magnets! I have a theory on what happens to the ones we lose.
During the hustle and bustle of breaking down and separating our scrap the
magnet clings on to a hunk of steel and thus scrapped and never to be seen again.
I keep one in the truck in the back of the truck on the bench a few above the bench along the front of the bench. Try not to get to close to the bench!
I have magnets all over the place! They are just so darn handy! For example. My lamp got knocked over,(don't ask) and the little threaded part broke off the shade bracket. I just used a small magnet and now the shade is easily adjusted to any position I want by moving the mag.
I also have a couple super strong magnets that are almost to big to mess with. These are not easy to come by! But you know the saying, "injunjoe's got a secret and he won't tell".
