Our local dump has a area in their yard that is lined with over 12in of rubber and that is where they put all CRT. I don't understand why all dumps don't do this.
All dumps do, do this. It mandatory by the EPA that all new dump sites are
1. Dug to bedrock, normally deeper to facilitate more trash.
2. In a geologically safe area.
3. Have a 12 inch or larger impenetrable plastic or rubber insulator between the trash and bedrock to avoid contamination of ground water.
And a host of other safety things. One of my IT clients is a drilling company and is blasting a new landfill near us and i got an ear full
