I crack the neck with a hatchet, break all the glass off the neck to get that piece of metal inside (someone on here once said they wanted to buy them, so I started saving those), then cut the band off around the side with the angle grinder...

I have had one tv implode into an explode before...Forgot to crack the neck.

Could have been much worse!
