Got Questions for the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager?

I would like to create an open post to answer any questions that you may have related to environmental, health and safety topics that you may have. I may not have all of the answers off the top of my head, but I look forward to researching them with you. As I may not be aware of all of the specifics related to your questions, I recommend further EHS/legal/medical consultation.

A summary of my background. My last eight years have been in the recycling industry (e-waste), first as an operations manager and then as an EHS Manager. I have developed and maintained environmental, health and safety management systems that are certified to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, RIOS and R2. I have a lot of experience reviewing regulations, creating legal registers and performing compliance audits in the recycling industry. I also have experience responding to EHS incidents and performing root cause and corrective action.
