Monumental time of year for curb shopping!

I built a monument of scrap in my truck tonight..Tonight's curb shopping looked like a load of weeks of collecting going in to the yard. College is almost in session! That means the college kids who have no perception of value throw anything they can away so they don't have to move it and can get mommy and daddy to buy them a newer nicer one....It's move in/out time. Also families with kids are moving before the start of the new school year. This week has been crazy. I found a PERFECT working laptop with charger and recovery disc in the cd drive made in 2009 with pretty good specs in the garbage because it was loaded with virus and wouldn't connect to the internet... Tonight I found 3 grills, a washing machine, a safe, 5 ceiling fans, 6 bed frames, george forman, above ground pool pumps, stereos, tools, garden tools, enough cookware to fill a commercial kitchen, and every other odd and end you could believe. I filled the entire double cab of my truck and the bed up to 10 ft high. I literally left more scrap behind than I took because I just couldn't fit it all. I worked 15 hours today or else I would go back out.....I had to cut the cords off 20 TV and leave them behind. If you have a college near your town go check out the student housing areas NOW! I noticed 2 neighborhoods had way more than some of the others.
