On my 3/4 ton camper hauler (I had 2 at one time) I used rear tires that were 2" wider, they were like a 285/16 and had a 8 ply sidewall.
That eliminated the trailer "wagging" the tail of the truck, the sidewalls were stiff.
If you have a long ways to go hauling, spend a few extra bucks and get a set of load levelers bars for you trailer. With them you can adjust the amount of tongue weight. Here's 2 different styles.
The smaller silver rod along the frame is a sway bar you can get at camper stores. These set-ups will allow you to run down state roads and have a semi coming at 60 mph and not so much as a squiggle out of the trailer, it goes where you put it.
