    New to the game

So me and a couple of firefighters have decided we have to much time on our hands with our four day. We are wanting to start scrapping any start up tips would be greatly aprreciated. I know this is very vague but i do not want to limit the responses, so anything you got we will read it. And, thanks in advance

First, go to your scrap yard and get a price sheet as a guideline. Get a magnet. Then start reading, reading and reading.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

What about burned out homes? Might be a salvage opportunity there? Albeit not often, hopefully, for sake of homeowners/residents.
