wow metal shavings can really add up

Me and my partner found a nice lil spot for metal shavings.had some that was in dumpster for several months,so it kind of rusted in to chunks. various weight on those.
had a huge ball of mostly AL. but the yard said they had to shoot it,too see what other metals were in with it.(will find out today)Also went to muffler shop,didnt get much. Ha, got like brand new harley davidson pipes,almost made a100$ mistake was gonna scrap them for regular metal.But looked and seen harley davidson.retails for 225$, should be able to get at least hundred at bike shop

Nice find on the pipes, I found an oil can spout (the kind you pop the can with and the its a spout) and then sold it for 10 on ebay, good luck on the pipes.... and yea, you ever try to lift a 55 gallon drum of lathe scrap?

2 weeks ago I found a few things while I was driving around for scrap..

I found a 1960's marching band drum ( sold for $105 )
a Vintage Crosman BB Gun ( sold for $50 )
a Bag of SEALED 80's vinyl records ( sold 3 for a total of $61 )
Kiss, Beatles + Elvis sheet music books ($35)

in addition to the $385 I made with the scrap it was a great week... I love Garbage night !! LOL

I do a lot of ranch cleanup. On this one particular ranch we were cleanin up, the owner wanted us to clean up a 20 acre lot, 2 4 wheelers, an old combine, and a HUGE burn-pit.

In the lot, we found 2 old wagon wheels somewhat sticking out of the ground. Started digging around, turns out it was a full wagon! Ended up calling the Idaho Historical Society, they came and picked it up. Unfortunately we didnt get anything out of it. But it was still neat to know that we found a piece of history, over 150 years old!

does anyone know were we can sell about one thousand vinyl records

Just curious, I saw in your intro post that you're a scrap buyer and buy Vinyl Records. Why would you be offering to buy them if you do not already have a market for them?

Well then find an empty store front and rent it for a year and sell all your records. I bet that will cost more then ebay fees. Or find a used record store and take them in. here use to be one in denver called music go round.
