What I'm saying is that gold and silver buying and selling is being PUSHED on the market.
Many are making MONEY selling fakes that are very hard to tell it's fake as there are some good fakes.
I buy coins from a owner of a pawn shop that deals in coins and precious metals. The last time I was in he showed me some of the fakes he has come across. Some had a very strong attraction to a
magnet and others weighed up very close to what they should weigh but they were plated if there was any silver in them.
There are ways to test but the best ways involve expensive gadgets.
You can weigh and measure and do sound tests easy enough, but even then it can be tough to spot some of the fakes.
Plenty of fake coins, rounds and such on
eBay and other such venues.
I see fake indian head pennies that are easy to spot but people are buying them that "don't have a clue".
There are plenty of YouTube videos on fake halves and silver dollars as well as other fakes. Some are pretty good fakes that I would have trouble spotting.
The gold and silver market is being PUSHED these days is what I'm saying.
