Food Cans - Page 3

Ah. Bears. Say no more.

Smash the food cans to help prevent rodents and bugs. I smash my alum cans as well to keep away bees, fruit flys and such. I did see something that I thought was funny. Plastic trash bags with mint extract in them to help repel rodents and even raccoons. Not sure how that would work... I wonder how much a scrap yard has to do to deal with pests? Everything from mosquitoes to rats and cats I guess! And bears

Cats earn their keep, though. Mine have always killed snakes, rodents, and even larger bugs. And they keep other predators away, like skunks. Not sure if they keep raccoons away - those buggers are ornery.
